Job summary

Bowood Hotel Spa and Golf Resort is seeking a Receptionist to join the Front of House team at our luxury 4-star hotel on the Bowood Estate in Calne.

As a first point of contact, you will welcome guests and support the day-to-day running of reception, delivering high standards of service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Full training provided. Prior hotel experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or front-of-house roles preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised with attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and flexibility for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistently high guest service at all times.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.
• Handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests.
• Support day-to-day running of reception and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with hotel colleagues to ensure a great guest experience.
• Uphold brand standards in quality, service and presentation.
