Bowood in Calne offers a fantastic opportunity to join a professional, supportive team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role welcomes candidates from hotel, retail, leisure, or customer service backgrounds and focuses on delivering a warm welcome from arrival to departure.

You will report to the Front of House Manager and assist in day-to-day reception duties, with a permanent, full-time contract and a 40-hour week on a rotating pattern (early and late shifts).

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, customer service, or front-of-house experience preferred.
• Confident, warm, and approachable communication.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistently high standard of guest service at all times.
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.
• Handle reservations, enquiries, and guest requests.
• Support the day-to-day running of reception.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the hotel to ensure the best guest experience.
• Uphold brand standards in quality, service, and presentation.
