Bowood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the Restaurant & Bars team and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a luxury hotel setting.

The role involves supervising day-to-day operations, driving service excellence, and supporting training and development for the team. Live-in accommodation is available; 40 hours per week, 5 days from 7 on a rota, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Are you an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor looking to build your career within a luxury hotel environment?

Bowood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is an award-winning AA 4 Red Star resort set within the stunning Bowood Estate in Wiltshire. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor with previous hotel hospitality experience to help lead our Restaurant & Bars team and deliver exceptional guest experiences across our resort.

The Role

Live-in Accommodation Available

Reporting to the Restaurant & Bars Manager, you will supervise the day-to-day operation of our food and beverage outlets, supporting your team to deliver warm, professional and attentive service at every stage of the guest journey. You will lead by example on the floor, ensuring service standards, presentation and operational efficiency consistently reflect the quality of our AA 4 Red Star hotel.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, 5 days from 7 on a rota basis. Shifts operate between 6.00am and 11.30pm, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. Due to our rural location, applicants will need their own reliable transport if not using our accommodation. This is easily commutable from Chippenham, Swindon, Devizes, Melksham, Corsham, Bath and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operation of the Restaurant & Bars, ensuring exceptional service standards.
• Lead, motivate and support the Food & Beverage team throughout service.
• Deliver outstanding guest experiences that exceed expectations.
• Ensure all food and beverage service is presented professionally and efficiently.
• Support training and coaching of team members to maintain consistently high standards.
• Monitor cleanliness, presentation and compliance across all service areas.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and achieving departmental financial targets.
• Work flexibly across the resort's restaurants, bars and event spaces as business requires.
• Handle guest queries professionally and resolve issues with confidence.

About You

We are looking for someone who already understands the pace and standards of a quality hotel operation.

You will ideally have:

• Previous supervisory experience within a hotel Food & Beverage department.
• Experience working in a luxury hotel, resort or high-quality hospitality environment.
• Excellent knowledge of restaurant and bar operations.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible approach to working shifts, including evenings and weekends.
