Job summary

Kensington Partnership is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our busy GP practice team. The role covers welcoming patients, handling face-to-face enquiries, and supporting AI-assisted triage with professional, patient-centred service.

You will maintain accurate records using SystmOne, manage appointments, support administration across sites, and work as part of a collaborative team while upholding UK GDPR and safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, IT and organisational skills are essential.
• Experience in NHS, GP reception or SystmOne desirable.
• Full training will be provided.
• Flexibility to cover staff absences across practice sites is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and manage face-to-face enquiries with courtesy.
• Handle calls transferred by the AI system and assist with triage.
• Book appointments and provide care navigation following triage outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records using SystmOne and other practice systems.
• Uphold confidentiality and information governance in line with policy.
