Sainsbury's Godalming Store is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to join our team. You will deliver groceries directly to customers' doors in a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, maintaining safety and service standards throughout the shift.

Part-time role, 34 hours per week, with shifts planned in advance. You’ll join a long-standing retailer committed to community and quality service, with flexible scheduling and inclusive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Complete an online driving risk assessment as part of interview; a driving assessment after joining if successful
• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• Sainsbury’s has a safer driving environment with in-cab AI cameras to support safe driving

Responsibilities

• Face of Sainsbury’s delivering to customers at their doorstep with friendly, helpful service
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition
• Perform van checks to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness and secure cargo
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varied traffic and weather conditions
• Move containers up to 15kg and handle deliveries to various properties
• Provide timely communication with customers about delays or changes to orders
• When not delivering, assist across the store as needed
