Job summary

The Best Connection Employment Group Limited are seeking Fridge & Freezer Picking Operatives to join a fast-paced warehouse team. You will work in a chilled environment and handle picking, lifting, and pallet wrapping on a two-week rolling rota that includes weekends.

Experience in warehouse roles is preferred; LLOP/EPT/PPT experience is beneficial but not essential. This ongoing assignment offers potential for permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Operate in fridge/freezer environments and pick goods.
• Lift up to 25 kg safely during picking and packing.
• Use LLOP and EPT devices to move goods.
• Wear and use headsets for efficient communication.
• Pick items from cages and wrap pallets for despatch.
• Assist with loading and grid setup areas if required.

Job description

The Best Connection Employment Group Limited are currently recruiting Fridge & Freezer Picking Operatives on behalf of our long standing client. You will be joining a fast-paced and dynamic team.

This role will include:

• Fridge (2-8 degrees) & Freeze environment (-25 and below)


• Lifting up to 25kg


• Use of LLOP (Low level order picker) & EPT (Electric Pump Truck)


• Use of Headsets


• Picking goods from cages


• Wrapping and taking pallets to designated locations.


• Working in other areas if required such as loading & grid setup area.

The working hours are 08:00 - 17:00 working on a two week rolling rota which will include working Saturday & Sunday

We are looking for candidates who have previous warehouse experience and are comfortable working in freezer conditions. Experience with EPT, LLOP, or PPT equipment would be beneficial, although it is not essential. The ideal candidate will be reliable, team-focused, and bring a positive attitude to the workplace, with flexibility around working days and availability to work weekends & bank holidays. For successful candidates this is an Ongoing assignment with potential of a permanent contract
