Job summary

The Best Connection are currently looking for an FLT Operative to work at our busy client in Chichester. You will pick and pack animal products, build and wrap pallets, and move stock around the warehouse while communicating with customers.

Suitable candidates will have forklift experience (counterbalance preferred) or be willing to train in-house. Driving is required due to the location and duties span warehouse and yard activities.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred; in-house training available.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours in a warehouse.
• Must be able to drive due to location.
• Comfortable working in warehouse and yard with customers.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing animal products in the warehouse.
• Building and wrapping pallets for safe handling.
• Moving stock around the warehouse and yard.
• Communicating with customers visiting the shop area.

Job description

The Best Connection are currently looking for a FLT Operative to work for our busy client based in Chichester.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Picking and packing animal products
• Building and wrapping pallets
• Putting heavy stock away in the warehouse safely
• Communicating with customers coming into the shop
• Stock counting
• Manoeuvring pallets and stock around the warehouse via forklift

What we are looking for:

• Counterbalance forklift experience is preferred, but in-house training can be provided
• Happy with heavy lifting and physical work
• Keen and eager to get the work done successfully
• Due to the location, candidates must be able to drive
• Candidates are required to work in the warehouse and yard, and will be communicating with customers.

Working hours are 06:30 - 17:00, Monday - Friday.
