Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Freezer Warehouse Operatives to work weekends in Bristol. This part-time role focuses on accurate picking, packing, and dispatch in a temperature-controlled frozen environment.

You will work in shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, or 10pm-6am, with overtime available. Own transport is advised due to site location, and full training is provided on health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Experience in chilled or frozen warehouse environments.
Full training provided; PPE/ clothing supplied.
Ability to work in a frozen environment with PPE.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong team player with flexible approach.
Ability to meet physical demands including lifting.

Responsibilities

Picking and packing customer orders using voice picking.
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
Ensuring correct storage and stock rotation.
Maintaining inventory accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
Working to productivity and performance targets.
Keeping the warehouse clean and organised.
Following health & safety and food safety procedures.
Reporting damaged products or safety concerns promptly.

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Frozen Warehouse Operatives to work for our client, who specialises in expertly crafted, award-winning dishes. From schools and hospitals to care homes and beyond, they are a leading producer of nutritious, delicious meals, creating high-quality food that supports a wide range of dietary needs and preferences.

Staffline is recruiting Freezer Warehouse Operatives to work weekends in Bristol.

The rate of pay is:

AM Shift £16.16 per hour
PM Shift £17.48 per hour
Night Shift £18.81 per hour
Overtime is available and is paid at £24.24 per hour.

This is a part-time role working weekends only.

The hours of work are:

6am to 2pm
2pm to 10pm

A night shift is also available, and the hours of work are:

10pm to 6am

Applicants will need their own vehicle to get to the site due to the location.

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative you will be working within a temperature-controlled frozen environment, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Picking and packing customer orders accurately using voice picking systems.
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
Ensuring products are stored correctly and stock rotation procedures are followed.
Maintaining accuracy of inventory and reporting stock discrepancies.
Working to productivity and performance targets.
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised at all times.
Following all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Company procedures.
Supporting colleagues and contributing positively to team objectives.
Reporting damaged products, equipment faults, or safety concerns immediately.
