Job summary

Morrisons is hiring a Warehouse & FLT Operative (Freezer) in the United Kingdom. You will be trained to perform a variety of warehouse tasks, including receiving goods, picking stock, replenishing and putting away items, and loading despatches while prioritising safety in a freezer environment.

You will work as part of a team, in shifts that may include days, lates or nights, with full protective clothing provided and access to staff discounts and benefits.

• Minimum age 18 due to equipment used.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse is desirable.

• Receive, stock and replenishing goods.

More about the role

As a Warehouse & FLT Operative (Freezer) you'll be absolutely key to the operation! You'll be supported and trained up to do a variety of warehouse tasks, such as bringing products in, picking stock, replenishing and putting away goods, driving a forklift truck and loading stock for despatch.

You'll work safely and carefully, with food and health and safety policies in mind every day, so that our products are looked after and arrive in the best condition at the store ready for our customers.

More about you

Please note, a minimum age of 18 is required for this role due to the equipment that is used.

You'll be the kind of person who:

• Loves working as part of a team and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
• Is happy in an active role and has a good level of fitness
• Is able to work in an environment with varying temperatures of around 8 degrees to minus 21 degrees
• Takes pride in completing tasks to the best of your ability
• Has previous experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understands relevant processes, systems and equipment (desirable)
• Can work to the shifts outlined in the advert above, which will typically include shift working (days, lates or nights) and will include some weekend working

As this role is within a freezer environment, full protective clothing is provided including freezer quality safety footwear, salopettes, thermals, coats, gloves and glove liners.
