People Solutions is recruiting for a Freezer Warehouse Operative in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The role offers ongoing work with progression opportunities in a supportive logistics environment, and suitability for candidates with picker/packer or warehouse background.

Shifts are four on four off, days 07:00-19:00 or nights 19:00-07:00, with day pay rates £13.56/hour and night rates £15.85/hour. Opportunity to go permanent after twelve weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a freezer environment.
• Voice-pick and system picking experience.
• MHE experience including Reach and Counterbalance FLT.
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Reliability and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous four on, four off and/or night shift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick frozen food items using voice-pick technology in minus 21 degree conditions.
• Operate MHE, including Reach and Counterbalance FLT.
• Move, sort, and organise stock within the warehouse.
• Wrap and secure completed pallets for despatch.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Carry out additional warehouse duties as required.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Freezer Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

This role would suit candidates who have previously worked as a Picker Packer, Order Picker or Warehouse Assistant.

Shifts:

• Four on, four off - Days: 07:00 - 19:00
• Four on, four off - Nights: 19:00 - 07:00

Rates of Pay:

• Days: £13.56 per hour
• Nights: £15.85 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Freezer Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Picking frozen food items using voice-pick technology in minus twenty-one degree conditions
• Operating MHE, including Reach and Counterbalance FLT
• Moving, sorting, and organising stock within the warehouse
• Wrapping and securing completed pallets for despatch
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
• Carrying out additional warehouse duties as required

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Freezer Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Previous experience working in a freezer environment
• Voice-pick and system picking experience
• MHE experience, including PPT, Reach, or Counterbalance
• A good level of spoken and written English
• Reliability and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous four on, four off and/or night shift experience preferred

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience in a freezer or chilled warehouse environment

Training:

• Industry-related training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
