Freight Sales and Account Manager – Road and Sea Freight Forwarding

Locations: London, UK (UK Wide Remote Working Option)

Salary: circa. £50,pa (DOE) + 10% Commission (Life time of Account)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30am-5:30pm

Are you a results driven, sales hungry, Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager or Key Account Manager, looking for a new role in the heart of London? This role could be right for you!

My client is offering a fantastic package to help grow their business and Freight Forwarding sector. The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established sales-person who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder and have the ability to bring on accounts and business with knowledge and experience with Road and Ocean/Sea Freight.

  • Flexible working – managing own diary and week.
  • Fantastic Uncapped Commission scheme (10% for the lifetime of the account).
  • Company Laptop and Phone.
  • Opportunity for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent freight forwarding services.
  • To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
  • Be the forefront of the company’s development by promoting the business to new and existing clients.

Requirements:

  • Freight Forwarding Sales/Account Management/Business Development Manager Experience.
  • Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
  • Ability to bring business would be advantageous.
  • Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence.
