Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Freelance Fitout Site Manager to oversee a gym fitout in Coventry. You will report to the construction director, manage subcontractors on site, and ensure progress aligns with programme and health & safety standards.

This 10-day project offers a day rate of £280-£290 and weekly pay on Friday; applicants should have CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and a UK driving license with access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager on commercial fitout projects.
• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates required.
• UK driving license and own vehicle essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gym fitout project and coordinate with design teams and client representatives.
• Report to the construction director and manage subcontractors on site.
• Monitor site progress and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Lead daily client and internal meetings and record progress and lookaheads.
• Support commissioning and final handovers.

What you'll do as a Freelance Fitout Site Manager:

• Oversee fitout project on gym fit out
• Report directly to the construction director
• Manage subcontractors on site
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives
• Support commissioning and final handoversDuties of a Freelance Fitout Site Manager include but are not limited to:

• Chair and manage daily meetings (Client and internal)
• Record onsite progress and lookaheads
• Report into Senior Management
