Job summary

Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to lead day-to-day site operations on fit-out and refurbishment schemes in Stratford, London. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate trades, monitor progress against programme and ensure safety, quality and client satisfaction on site.

The ideal candidate holds SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work, and PASMA, with experience across commercial, retail or hospitality projects.

Responsibilities

Rate: £300 – £320 per day

Contract: Freelance

Sphere Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to work with an established construction and fit-out contractor delivering projects across the commercial, retail and hospitality sectors.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of site operations
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and trades
• Monitor progress against programme and resolve site issues
• Ensure high standards of health & safety and quality are maintained
• Carry out inductions, toolbox talks and site inspections
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and welfare

Requirements

• Proven Site Manager experience within fit-out, refurbishment, retail, hospitality or commercial projects

• Good understanding of construction programmes, drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Experience with Temporary Works, IPAF or an NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management would be advantageous.
