Job summary

Early Years Alliance is seeking freelance assessors to deliver virtual classroom sessions, assess learner work and provide constructive feedback. You will travel to complete workplace assessments and support endpoint assessment processes for apprentices.

The role requires vocational assessor and teaching qualifications, confidence in supporting English and maths skills, and willingness to travel. Hours are on demand with a nationwide homebased setup.

Qualifications

• Hold an accepted vocational assessor qualification (A1 or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement).
• Hold a teaching qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, L3 AET, L4 CET, L5 DET).
• Be confident supporting learners to develop English and maths skills, including functional skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual classroom sessions and assess learner work with constructive feedback.
• Travel to complete workplace assessments and support end-point assessment for apprentices.
• Plan and teach learning for diverse groups in virtual, face-to-face, and workplace settings.
• Maintain CPD annually and participate in standardisation/CPD meetings.
