Job summary

Bury College invites applications for a permanent, full-time Lecturer in Foundation Maths. You will deliver inclusive teaching to Entry 3 and Level 1 maths, supporting learners to progress into further study or employment.

The role requires planning schemes of work, formative and summative assessment, and use of ILT resources to engage disengaged learners. You will be passionate about learners, able to tutor and mentor, and committed to equality of opportunity, safeguarding, and continuing

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in certification / training.
• Full teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills.
• Ability to deliver exceptional teaching and learning and inspire, motivate and engage learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Entry 3 and Level 1 maths in Foundation department with inclusive teaching.
• Plan schemes of work and lessons to support achievement.
• Undertake ongoing formative and summative assessment and monitor learner progress.
• Use ILT and resources to engage disengaged learners and support progression.
