Job summary

Kingston College is seeking a Lecturer to support students within the Foundation Learning area. You will provide tutorial and pastoral support to groups of learners with learning disabilities and/or difficulties, while monitoring work experience activities.

You will deliver teaching and assessment, including Maths and English to SEND learners, and arrange/practice supervision of practical work and projects.

Qualifications

• You will hold a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one).
• Recent, relevant continuing professional development (CPD) in teaching and assessment is desirable.
• You will have experience embedding Maths, English, employability and life skills in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutorial and pastoral support to groups of learners with learning disabilities and/or difficulties.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching, learning and assessment strategies to drive quality improvement.
• Deliver Maths and English to SEND learners at appropriate levels.
