The role requires a qualified teacher (or working towards) with a strong Maths background, experience in Further Education, and the ability to differentiate teaching for diverse learners. Flexible working options may be available.
Qualifications
- Qualified teacher (or working towards) with a strong Maths background.
- Experience delivering teaching in Further Education.
- Ability to differentiate teaching to support diverse learners.
- Strong communication skills to engage learners.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements
- Monitor student progress, attendance, and achievement, taking action to address any concerns
- Provide clear targets and timely, constructive feedback to support learner development
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with SEND
- Contribute to quality assurance processes, including standardisation and continuous improvement activities
- Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments
