Job summary

Kingston College is seeking a Lecturer to support Foundation Learning students, including those with learning disabilities and/or difficulties. You will provide tutorial and pastoral support and monitor work experience activities.

You will develop and promote innovative teaching, learning and assessment strategies, delivering Maths and English to SEND learners and embedding employability and life skills. You will also coordinate practical work and progression planning.

Qualifications

• Provide tutorial and pastoral support to groups of learners with learning disabilities and/or difficulties.
• Embed Maths, English, employability and life skills into teaching.
• Design and deliver learning materials, methods and activities for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching and assessment across your specialism, including lectures, coursework, practicals and fieldwork.
• Coordinate and supervise practical work, events and assessment projects.
• Support work experience activities and progression for SEND learners.
