Job summary

Renault Group is seeking a placement student to join the Alpine Racing team in Enstone. You will contribute to software solutions across the Development Lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, under the guidance of senior engineers.

This 1-year placement offers hands-on experience in a high-performance motorsport environment. You will work with Software Engineers, AI Engineers and Platform Engineers to deliver tools that impact car performance, race strategy, and engineering

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computing, or a related discipline.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, Python or similar imperative languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical and methodical approach.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
• Proactive, accountable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, testing, and deployment of software applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate with engineers across departments to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Actively participate in the operational phase of our Software Development Lifecycle, troubleshooting issues and presenting findings clearly to technical stakeholders.
