Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited is offering a SimulationStudent Placement in Enstone to support development, maintenance, and deployment of simulation tools across engineering departments. You will work with simulation engineers, software developers and performance analysts to ensure accurate and usable workflows.

Applicants should be penultimate-year Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or Motorsport engineers with strong MATLAB and Python skills and familiarity with Dymola/Simscape/Simulink.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or Motorsport Engineering.
• Strong programming skills (MATLAB, Python) and familiarity with simulation environments such as Dymola, Simscape, Simulink.
• Understanding of car systems (thermal management, hydraulics, transmission, fuel) and modelling techniques.
• Experience with data analysis and software development tools.
• Passion for motorsport and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
• You must have the right to work in the UK.

The Role

Duringtheplacement,you’llsupport the development, maintenance, and deployment of simulation tools used across the engineering departments.You’llwork closely with simulation engineers, software developers, and performance analysts to ensure the accuracy, usability, and efficiency of simulation workflows that inform design and race strategy decisions.

WhoWe’reLooking For

• Strong programming skills (matlab, python) and familiarity with simulation environments such asDymola,Simscape, Simulink
• Understanding of car systems (thermal management, hydraulics, transmission, fuel) and modelling techniques
• Experience with data analysis and software development tools
• Passion for motorsport and a proactive, collaborative mindset
• You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role
• Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September
