Job summary

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver to join our client in Swindon. This is a temporary ongoing position with good pay and progression opportunities.

You will operate a Combi and counterbalance forklift, load and unload timber, wrap pallets, and keep the warehouse organised. Shift is Monday to Friday, 10:30–19:30.

A valid counterbalance licence and reliable work ethic are essential. Weekly pay and a friendly team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence is essential.
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties safely.
• Reliable and strong work ethic with punctuality.
• Team player with good communication and cooperation.
• Attention to detail in pallet wrapping and warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Combi and/or Counterbalance forklift safely.
• Load and unload vehicles with timber products.
• Wrap pallets and despatching of goods.
• Perform manual handling tasks as required.
• Support goods-in and goods-out operations.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver to join our well-established client based in Swindon.

This role will suit applicants who have worked in a role as a Forklift Truck Driver, FLT Operator or Counterbalance Truck Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.00 - £13.40 per hour DOE

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 10:30 - 19:30
