Job summary

The Job People are recruiting a Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join a busy production facility in Southam CV33. This long-term role offers a Temp-to-Perm path with a clear progression route and training provided where needed.

You will operate counterbalance FLTs, pick and load goods, and support warehouse tasks. Shifts include PM (13:00-21:00) and AM (05:00-13:00) with weekly pay, holiday pay, and on-site facilities. Basic pay £15/hr with increase when permanent.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Counterbalance FLT; training provided after qualifying period.
• Willingness to train on BENDI FLT.
• Must hold a full driving licence and be prepared for in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance FLT to move goods and loading onto conveyors.
• Load/unload materials and assist with warehouse tasks.
• Follow processes and maintain a safe working environment.

The work is long term and can lead to a permanent contract after a qualifying period.

FLT Counterbalance Licence - Required

BENDI Licence / Experience advantageous not essential - but you must be prepared to gain this in-house with the company.

Full Driving Licence Required

Details of an Forklift Counterbalance Driver based in Southam CV33:

• Monday to Friday
• Fixed PM Shift
• 13.00 - 21.00
• Must be prepared to take part in various warehouse tasks when required
• £15.00 per hour basic - pay increase when permanent
• Overtime pay after 40 hours
• AM Shift - Monday to Friday 5am till 1pm
• £14.00 per hour - pay increase when permanent
• Temp to Perm role
• Long term opportunity with training and individual progression throughout.

As an Forklift Counterbalance Driver in Southam, you would be required to:

• Have previous experience operating an Counterbalance FLT (training will be given after qualifying period)
• Train internally on FLT BENDI
• Loading machines from conveyor belt systems, safe logistical movement of roller bins around the facility.
• Loading and unloading onto conveyor belts.
• General support within the warehouse
• Ensure to follow all processes trained.
• Maintaining a safe working environment.

Role of an Forklift Counterbalance Driver:
