Forklift Counterbalance Driver

Location: Redcar

Start Date: 11th November 2025

Shift Pattern

12-hour shifts (Days and Nights) – 13 consecutive days of work

Requirements
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence 5-16 Tonne (conversation can be given up to 16 Tonne)
  • Valid CSCS or EMSS Card
  • Proven experience operating heavy plant or forklifts safely and efficiently on construction or industrial sites
  • Ability to work both day and night shifts
  • Good communication, reliability, and strong safety awareness
  • Drug and alcohol testing will be conducted for pre-employment
Pay Rates
  • Monday to Friday (Days): £16.00/hour
  • Saturday (Days) & Saturday Nights (up to midnight): £24.00/hour
  • Sunday Midnight to Monday Morning: £32.00/hour
Contract Duration

Short-term contract – 13 days from 11th November 2025, with potential for further opportunities depending on site progress and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Telehandler or Counterbalance Forklift (5-16 tonne range) safely and in line with site regulations
  • Load, move, and unload materials and equipment as directed
  • Support general site logistics and ensure efficient material flow
  • Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults
  • Adhere strictly to site safety procedures and instructions from supervisors
