Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting an experienced Forklift Driver for its Kilmarnock operation. The role involves safe movement, loading and unloading of materials, and supporting warehouse tasks with a long-term outlook through March 2027.

You will operate a counterbalance forklift, move stock, and ensure correct storage while maintaining high safety standards and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Moving stock and materials throughout the site.
• Stacking and storing goods in designated locations.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required.

Location: Kilmarnock

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: Until End of March 2027

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday


• 7:30am - 4:00pm

Overtime Rates

• Saturday: Time and a Half


• Sunday: Double Time

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our client's busy operation in Kilmarnock. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual looking for long-term work, with an immediate start available and work secured through to March 2027.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement, loading and unloading of materials, ensuring goods are stored correctly and supporting wider warehouse and operational activities as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently

Requirements
