Job summary

Counterbalance Forklift Driver Wanted - Glenrothes

KPI Recruiting are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client based in Glenrothes (KY6 2RU).

Pay: £13.45 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Location: Glenrothes, KY6 2RU

The Role

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your duties will include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and trucks.
• Moving, lifting and positioning pallets and materials around the warehouse and yard.
• Loading goods securely onto trucks for dispatch.
• Unloading incoming deliveries and checking goods for any visible damage.
• Moving stock to the correct storage locations.
• Ensuring goods are stored safely and securely.
• Preparing orders and materials for dispatch.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required.
• Carrying out daily forklift safety checks and reporting any faults.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Working efficiently as part of a busy warehouse and logistics team.

What We're Looking For

• Valid counterbalance forklift experience/licence.
• Previous experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
