Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a Forklift Truck Driver in Carrington, M31 on a long-term temporary basis. You will safely operate a counterbalance forklift, load/unload vehicles, and move stock within a busy warehouse environment.

The role requires a valid counterbalance licence, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team. Immediate start available, with pay rate around £15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.
• Previous forklift/warehouse experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit for a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join our client's busy operation in Carrington, M31 on a long-term temporary basis.

The Role

Working as part of a busy warehouse and logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials around the site.

Key Duties

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Moving and storing stock and materials around the warehouse and yard.
• Loading pallets and goods into designated storage areas.
• Preparing goods for dispatch and ensuring orders are moved safely.
• Checking deliveries and stock where required.
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Following all site health & safety procedures.
• Completing any relevant paperwork or warehouse documentation.
• Working as part of a team to meet daily operational targets.
• Carrying out other general warehouse duties when required.
