Job summary

Realise Training is hiring for a Barnkids Brightstars Nursery Apprentice. You will join a warm team, gaining hands-on experience while working toward a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship.

The role includes supporting planning, observations and assessments, safeguarding, and fostering an inclusive learning environment in a setting with large woodland access. Training and 20% off-the-job learning are provided.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
• Some experience working with babies or children under five is desirable.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to early years education.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a friendly, supportive team.
• Work in a setting with access to 60 acres of woodland for forest school activities.
• Act as a key person for a group of children and support planning, observations and assessments.
• Ensure safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing of all children at all times.
• Follow the EYFS Statutory Framework and create a safe, stimulating environment.
