Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Forecasting Lead - Principal Associate based in our Nottingham offices. You will manage a small team responsible for producing demand forecasts for Customer Operations, covering both front-line and back-office processes.

This permanent role offers a flexible hybrid working model with core office days and opportunities to influence budgets and planning with Finance while building strong stakeholder partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience producing forecasts in an operational environment to deadlines.
• Ability to use complex Excel-based models to enable continuous improvement.
• Experience coaching and managing a small team to maintain engagement and good service.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to produce forecasts across operations.
• Produce medium and long term customer demand forecasts for core processes and oversee back office forecasts.
• Support budgets and outlook refreshes with Finance through future volume demand views.
• Utilise planning data and models to provide actionable advice and recommendations.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to act as a trusted partner.
• Improve forecast quality by reviewing tools, models and processes.
• Communicate capacity plans clearly and simply.
• Ensure resources are used in line with planning periods.
