Job summary

Marks & Spencer Group in Amersham is seeking a Shift Lead to manage the fill operation and ensure the sales floor is ready to trade. You will coordinate resources, lead the floor in the absence of the Colleague Manager, and role-model excellent customer service.

This frontline role requires early mornings, dedication, and teamwork; you’ll also support nearby stores when needed, handle opening/closing tasks, cash handling, and respond to call outs as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fill operation and coordinate resources to ensure the store is ready to trade.
• Coach colleagues on One Best Way and drive productivity ahead of store opening.
• Ensure quick and smooth payment experience for customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented store environment.
• Act as a key holder and manage opening/closing duties, including cash handling and security checks.
• Support nearby stores when operationally required.
• Foster a great team atmosphere that is inclusive and customer-focused.
