Overview

Job Title: Food Production/Packaging Operatives

Company: A sustainable contract packaging business in the food industry

Location: Stanton Drew, near Chew Magna - Please note! The site is located in a rural area with limited public transportation options. Candidates who do not have their own means of transportation may face challenges in commuting to work and unfortunately, we cannot consider applications from individuals without reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time, temp-perm, 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday)

Hours: 6.30am until 5.30pm

Pay: GBP12.21ph

About our Client: A leading sustainable contract packaging business specialising in single-serve and small measurements of food ingredients and products for meal boxes and recipe kits. Customers enjoy convenient, precisely measured ingredients delivered nationwide.

Job Summary: We\'re seeking reliable and efficient Production Packaging Operators to join our client\'s friendly manufacturing team. As a key member of the production team, you\'ll play a vital role in ensuring the ingredients and products are packaged to the highest standards, meeting customer expectations and contributing to our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately package food ingredients and products according to customer specifications. Labeling/ Cutting/
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Contribute to our sustainability initiatives and continuously improve processes
  • Conduct quality checks on packaged goods to maintain high standards of product integrity.
  • Operate simple packaging machinery (training provided)
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Report any issues related to packaging or equipment malfunctions promptly
