The Oystercatcher in Penarth, part of Greene King, is seeking an ambitious Assistant Manager to support the General Manager, drive sales and deliver an outstanding guest experience in a busy, food-led pub.

You’ll lead from the front, coach a team, manage standards, costs and stock, and help grow the business with a strong emphasis on food. If you're passionate about great food and developing people, this is a great opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Ability to drive sales and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day pub operations.
• Lead by example during busy services and ensure high standards.
• Develop and motivate team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve performance.
• Monitor costs, stock, and compliance to maintain profitability.
• Contribute to the pub's ongoing development and culture.
