The Oystercatcher in Penarth, part of the Greene King family, is seeking a food-focused Assistant Manager to support the General Manager and drive the venue's performance.

You will lead busy services, coach a team, develop food operations and guest experiences, and contribute to a successful, high-volume branded pub environment with great opportunities for career progression and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of food operations in high-volume settings.
• Ability to lead and develop a team under pressure.
• Commercial focus on driving food sales and guest experience.

• Driving food performance: deliver great food, high standards and maximise the menu.
• Leading from the front: manage day-to-day pub operations during busy services.
• Developing your team: coach, motivate and support colleagues to build a strong, engaged team.
• Growing the business: identify opportunities to increase sales and encourage repeat visits.
• Delivering outstanding service: ensure guests enjoy a warm welcome, great food and a memorable experience.
