Job summary

Sainsbury's Bourne is seeking a Food Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive service excellence, and coach teams to maintain high standards. You’ll oversee stock, safety, and compliance to deliver a seamless shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Track record delivering exceptional customer experiences and coaching others to raise standards.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced, customer-facing environments like retail, food service or hospitality.
• Ability to manage performance, attendance and employee relations with fairness.
• Proven ability to hit KPIs across sales, stock and customer satisfaction.
• Experience managing complex people matters with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
• Managing compliance to processes while delivering great shop keeping and customer service.
• Ensure every customer gets the food they want when they shop with us to be the first choice for food.
• People management including performance, capability, disciplinaries, scheduling and pay.
• Occasionally assume overall responsibility for running the store, directing and supporting colleagues.
