Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is seeking an experienced Food Store Manager to lead and inspire teams across the food hall. You will drive daily operations, maintain high standards of customer service, and ensure product availability while managing performance and scheduling with care.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced store environment, a proven track record of coaching teams to raise the bar, and the ability to independently run store operations when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Experience leading teams and coaching for high performance.
• Ability to manage disciplinaries and performance issues.
• Strong scheduling and pay accuracy understanding.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
• Managing compliance to processes whilst delivering great shop keeping and customer service.
• Ensure customers get the food they want when they shop with us to be the first choice for food.
• People management including performance reviews, disciplinaries, and scheduling accuracy.
• Occasionally run the store and provide direction and support to colleagues.
