Sainsbury's is seeking a Food Manager to lead in-store operations with a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up approach. You will coach teams, ensure product availability and safety standards, and run daily store operations when needed.

You will deliver outstanding customer service, manage performance and scheduling, and contribute to a busy, high-volume environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and store performance.

Formación

• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Experience leading teams in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
• Leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced operational setting.
• Proven success delivering against KPIs such as sales, availability and engagement.
• Experience handling performance, absence and employee relations fairly.

Responsabilidades

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
• Managing compliance to processes while delivering great shop keeping and customer service.
• Ensure customers get the food they want when they shop with us and are the first choice for food.
• People management including performance, disciplinaries, scheduling and pay accuracy.
• Occasionally assume overall responsibility for running the store and directing colleagues.
