Job summary

Sainsbury's Group is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, coach teams, and drive customer service excellence across busy food halls. You will manage performance, scheduling, and compliance, ensuring high standards while delivering store KPI targets.

This role requires strong leadership in high-volume environments, a hands-on approach, and the ability to deliver a great customer experience every day in our retail stores.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Experience coaching teams to raise standards and performance.
• Track record of delivering KPI targets across stores.
• Ability to manage disciplinaries and performance issues fairly.
• Experience running store operations and staff scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
• Managing compliance to processes whilst bringing passion for shopkeeping and customer service.
• Ensure every customer gets the food they want when they shop with us to help ensure we are the first choice for food.
• People management including performance, capability, disciplinaries, and ensuring scheduling and pay accuracy.
• Occasionally assume overall responsibility for running the store and directing colleagues to deliver for the customer.
