Job summary

Warner Hotels is recruiting a Food & Beverage Supervisor for its Lakeside venue on Hayling Island. You will lead service shifts, coach and motivate the team, and ensure high standards of guest service across our restaurants and bars.

In this role you’ll be the face of hospitality on shift, manage guest queries and complaints, monitor safety and billing processes, and drive service excellence with a proactive, hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food and beverage or hospitality operations.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards; Level 3 certificate desirable.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-shift leader across the department and monitor standards.
• Serve as main guest contact during the shift and handle queries.
• Ensure HS&E compliance and manage emergency procedures.
• Monitor upselling opportunities and manage cash handling.
• Conduct shift handovers and prepare reports on events.
• Respond decisively to crises to minimise disruption.
