Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant in Leeds. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to learn essential hospitality skills and grow with experienced teammates.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will deliver friendly, efficient service, upsell where appropriate, and support the team in maintaining clean, welcoming dining spaces.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills required.
• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and provide friendly service.
• Know basic food and wine offerings and make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant areas.
• Serve guests with food and beverages.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job:

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experienceis essential.
• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.
