Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc in Manchester is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our front-of-house team. You will be trained through the Dalata Academy and will work under the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager to provide friendly, efficient service to hotel guests.

The role emphasizes guest recognition, knowledge of food and wine, and upselling to maximise sales. Flexibility for mornings, evenings and weekends is required, and previous hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings/weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Hotel experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are greeted by name and provided friendly service.
• Maintain good knowledge of food and wine and offer recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell to maximise sales revenue where possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverages.

Food & Beverage Assistant

You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills. You will also meet experienced team members who can help you grow.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job:
