Job summary

The Bear, a modern community pub on the edge of Bilton village near Rugby, has reopened after refurbishment and seeks talented Front of House staff to deliver an exceptional customer experience and a mouth-watering food offer.

You will take accurate orders, work closely with kitchen staff, handle payments, confidently recommend menu and drinks, observe service standards and support the team to ensure every guest leaves satisfied.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working front of house in hospitality or customer facing environment.
• Enthusiasm and passion for food and beer.
• Deliver excellent customer service and great teamwork in a fast paced, pressurised environment.
• Ambitious and keen to develop your career with us.
• Role is for over 18s due to the need to sell alcohol.

The Bear is a modern community pub on the edge of Bilton village and is at the heart of the new residential development. The site recently reopened after a transformational refurbishment to bring local residents an exciting new look and feel, combined with a unique dining and drink offer.

Position

We are looking for talented, motivated and passionate Front of House staff to join our team in delivering an exceptional customer experience and a mouth-watering food offering.

Front Of House Duties Include

• Taking responsibility for the customer journey, ensuring their experience is second to none
• Taking accurate orders and working closely with kitchen staff
• Ensuring payments and receipts are correct
• Confidently recommending menu and drinks offerings
• Observing service and standards and reporting any incidents or issues
• Being a supportive and proactive team member

Requirements

• Previous experience working front of house in a hospitality or customer facing environment
