Job summary

Pret A Manger in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run day‑to‑day shop operations, lead by example and ensure our customers receive an outstanding Pret experience.

You’ll support the General Manager, coach and develop teammates, maintain top food quality and high standards across front of house and kitchen, drive performance during busy periods, manage stock, and ensure consistency with Pret’s values in every shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality, food production or other fast‑paced customer environments.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team, drive performance and maintain high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day shop operations and support the General Manager.
• Lead by example, motivate and develop your team, and ensure product quality and service standards.
• Collaborate across front‑of‑house and kitchen areas to deliver an outstanding Pret experience.
• Ensure food safety and stock management during busy periods.
