Job summary

Associated Seafoods Ltd. is seeking a Commercial Manager to join our successful team. The role reports to the Senior Commercial Manager and offers the chance to work with major retail customers, influence commercial decisions and drive growth across the business.

You will manage key customer relationships, lead projects from concept to launch, and collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and NPD to deliver impactful results.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, account management or customer-facing role in FMCG/food manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent project management and organisational capabilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and align diverse teams.
• Good analytical and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic relationships with UK retailers, shaping product ranges and growth opportunities.
• Support development and delivery of the company's commercial strategy and growth plans.
• Drive profitable growth by strengthening customer partnerships and identifying new opportunities.
• Lead customer projects from concept through to launch, ensuring timely delivery and clear objectives.
• Negotiate pricing, promotions, product launches and commercial agreements.
• Act as the link between customers and Operations, Supply Chain, NPD, Finance to turn opportunities into outcomes.
• Analyse market, category and customer trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, costing and sales planning activities.
• Represent the business professionally during customer visits, presentations and reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve customer satisfaction and profitability.
