Job summary

Hilton Foods in Huntingdon is seeking a proactive Commercial Manager to lead key customer relationships and drive profitable growth. You will shape commercial plans, develop joint strategies, and own promotional activity with cross-functional teams.

This role requires commercial curiosity, strong relationship skills and a track record in FMCG. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid setup, combining office presence with field collaboration, and will be pivotal in turning customer insights

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG with UK Grocery Retail or Food Service customers.
• Strong understanding of customer-supplier relationships and drivers of commercial performance.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at different levels.
• Willingness to develop P&L knowledge and take ownership of outcomes.
• Analytical approach to using data and insights for commercial decisions.
• Energy, curiosity and ambition in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with key retail customers and act as a credible commercial partner.
• Identify opportunities to drive volume, value and profitable growth across existing and new customers.
• Support delivery of customer strategy, joint business plans and key commercial projects.
• Own and develop promotional plans and review KPIs with customers.
• Support category reviews and bring insights to customer conversations.
• Collaborate with NPD, Insights, Operations and internal teams to meet priorities.
• Take ownership of P&L performance and balance customer needs with returns.
• Participate in business development and growth initiatives for the Huntingdon site.
