Job summary

Blexity is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth across the Midlands and East Anglia in the premium FMCG sector. You will manage a portfolio of retailers and develop partnerships with store and buying teams.

This field-based role offers a base salary of £28k with uncapped commission (OTE £45k+), a company car and devices, training, and a pension. A minimum of two years in FMCG sales is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of sales experience in FMCG.
• Proven track record in account management and business development.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a premium FMCG client portfolio across the Midlands and East Anglia.
• Account management (80%) and new business development (20%).
• Develop trusted partnerships with store managers to purchasing teams and decision-makers.
• Identify growth opportunities and implement effective sales strategies.
• Maintain face-to-face relationships with existing clients through regular territory travel.
• Develop new business opportunities within the geographical area.
