Job summary

Ersilia is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to manage a premium FMCG client portfolio across the Midlands and East Anglia. The role blends account management with new business development, remote/field-based, with travel to client sites.

Basic salary £28k with uncapped commission (OTE £45k+). You'll build trusted partnerships with store and purchasing decision-makers, delivering growth and outstanding service across the client journey.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' sales experience within FMCG.
• Proven track record in account management and business development.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a premium FMCG client portfolio across the Midlands and East Anglia.
• Account management (80%) and new business development (20%).
• Develop trusted partnerships with decision-makers including store managers and purchasing teams.
• Identify growth opportunities, implement sales strategies, and ensure excellent service throughout the client journey.
• Regular territory travel to maintain face-to-face relationships with existing clients.
• Developing new business opportunities within the geographical area.
