Job summary

MTrec Limited in Prudhoe is recruiting for a permanent day shift role involving manual handling and FLT driving. You will load and unload machinery, operate a counterbalance forklift, and move materials within the dispatch area while balancing 50% labouring with 50% FLT duties.

A valid external counterbalance forklift licence is required, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow into a permanent position after probation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid external counter balance forklift truck licence (external licence only).
• Positive attitude and willing to learn more skills on the job.
• Confidence on the job and willingness to take on more responsibility if necessary.
• Able to work towards a permanent position after a successful probation period.

Responsibilities

• Manually loading and unloading machinery.
• Operate a counter balance forklift truck.
• Load and unload wagons with a counterbalance and move materials within the dispatch area.
• Role to be a mixture of FLT driving and labouring.
• Involved in general process work including transporting materials from machinery to production area.
• Brushing and tidying areas and maintaining cleanliness of the workspace.
• Labouring and transporting materials around the warehouse.
• Role expected to be 50% labouring and 50% FLT driving.

• Monday – Thursday, 07:30 - 15:30 PM
• Friday - 07:30 am - 14:30 pm

The Pay You’ll Receive;

The Jobs You’ll Do

About You

• Must have a valid external counter balance forklift truck licence (unfortunately in house or expired licences cannot be used at this current time)
• A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job
• Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary
• Should be comfortable working towards a permanent position after a successful probation period
