Job summary

MTrec Ltd is recruiting for a role in the Prudhoe area involving forklift operation and labouring. The job is a permanent day shift with a 07:30–15:30 schedule from Monday to Thursday and 07:30–14:30 on Fridays. The position includes manual handling, loading/unloading wagons, and transporting materials within the dispatch area.

A valid external counterbalance forklift licence is required. The successful candidate should have a positive attitude, be eager to learn, and be prepared for a potential

Qualifications

• Must have a valid external counter balance forklift truck licence.
• Positive attitude and willing to learn on the job.
• Confident and able to take on more responsibility if needed.
• Open to permanent position after probation.

Responsibilities

• Manually loading and unloading machinery.
• Operate a counter balance forklift truck.
• Loading and unloading wagons within the dispatch area.
• Role is a mix of FLT driving and labouring (50%/50%).
• Transport materials from machinery to production area.
• Clean and tidy work areas and ensure spaces are kept orderly.
• Move materials around the warehouse as required.

The Jobs You'll Do

• Manually loading and unloading machinery
• Operation a counter balance forklift truck
• Loading and unloading wagons with a counterbalance and transporting materials within the dispatch
• The role will be a mixture of FLT driving and labouring
• Involved in general process work including transporting materials from machinery to production area
• Brushing and tidying area's ensuring area's
• Labouring and transporting materials around the warehouse
• The role was 50% labouring / 50% FLT driver

About You

• Must have a valid external counter balance forklift truck licence (unfortunately in house or expired licences cannot be used at this current time)
• A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job
• Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary
• Should be comfortable working towards a permanent position after a successful probation period
