Job summary

MTrec Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting for a warehouse operative to join a dedicated team in Jarrow. You will participate in daily meetings with supervisors, move products within the warehouse, and perform basic quality checks and packing duties.

The role runs on a permanent day shift with a clear path to progression. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential, and full training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily with Team Leader or Supervisor to discuss workload.
• Transport products within the warehouse.
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on all products.
• Pick and pack items into boxes and label before dispatch.
• Follow picking sheets.

The Hours You’ll Work;

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 am – 16:00 pm

The Payroll You’ll Receive;

• £12.71 per hour

The Jobs You’ll Do

• Daily meetings with the Team Leader or Supervisor to discuss workload
• Warehouse work including transporting products within the warehouse areas
• Basic visual quality inspections duties to be completed on all products
• Picking and packing items into boxes, labelling products prior to dispatch
• Following picking sheets
• Numerical counting of products prior to packing
• Manually transporting materials within the warehouse
• Following strict health and safety guidelines

About You;

• A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job
• Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment desirable, although not essential as full training will be given
