Job summary

MTrec Ltd in Peterlee is recruiting for a role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, maintain housekeeping standards, and support material movement across the warehouse with PPE worn at all times.

This permanent day-shift position offers an immediate start, with on-site parking and a pay rate of £14.00. Work hours are 08:00 to 16:30, with daily shifts in a busy production setting.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Physically fit to handle heavy products.
• Maintaining the plant records and data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas to the required standards of housekeeping.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Accurately maintain full plant records and data sheets.
• Assist in transporting materials with a counter-balance forklift truck.
• Load and unload wagons with a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Wear PPE such as safety glasses and ear protection at all times.

The Job You'll Do;

• Maintain all areas to the required standards of housekeeping
• Operation of a counterbalance forklift truck licence for transporting materials within the warehouse
• Accurately maintain full plant records and data sheets
• Competent to safely operate a forklift truck, as required
• Assisting in transporting materials with a counter-balance forklift truck
• Loading and unloading wagons with a counterbalance forklift truck
• Able to wear the correct PPE, including safety glasses, and ear protection at all times.
