Job summary

MTrec Ltd has a new opportunity in the Gateshead area for a dedicated operatives role. You will manually load/unload, operate a counter balance forklift, and handle stores paperwork while moving materials within the dispatch area. The job mixes FLT driving with stores duties and offers progression after probation.

Working Monday to Friday on a 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 rotating shift. Onsite parking, strong transport links, and no weekend work accompany a permanent day shift potential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid external counter balance forklift licence.
• Willingness to learn additional on-the-job skills.
• Confident to take on more responsibilities if required.

Responsibilities

• Manually loading and unloading machinery.
• Operate a counter balance forklift.
• Load/unload wagons and transport materials within the dispatch area.
• Complete stores paperwork and place products in correct locations.
• Role will mix FLT driving with stores work on an as-and-when basis.
• Support general process work from machinery to production areas.
